From Barrels to Roping, Pole bending to Hunter jumper, Western, Cutting, Trail riding and beyond. Your horse is an athlete that gives his all and every athlete needs a tune up so they perform at their best. Skipping leads, biting at the bit, refusing to turn, or collect are all signs that your equine companion may need to be adjusted.
The canine has always been man's best friend. Whether it's couch lounging or active trail exploring, your canine companion will be right there by your side. Jumping from the couch or bed, running down trails, jumping in and out of vehicles, going up and down stairs, chasing balls and sticks. All things dogs are prone to do and have no intention of stopping. Some early signs that your canine companion may need some chiropractic attention may be as simple as seeing a change in their behavior. They may no longer do the things they once enjoyed doing. Jumping in and out of vehicles or up and down from a couch or bed may become difficult. They may favor a side to sit on, no longer stretch out like they once did, or you may notice excessive licking or biting of their paws or tail. Canines are the most prevalent pet to have spinal misalignments and if left untreated can lead to mobility issues and in the most severe cases can end with the inability to use their limbs. Have your canine checked and consider regular maintenance to keep them doing what they love for life.
The house companion that loves a good belly rub, until it doesn't. House felines are prone to long naps and don't see much action beyond jumping off of furniture or finding themselves in tight spaces around the house. Outdoor felines on the other hand are known to get in a little more trouble. With fighting and mating or finding higher places to pounce from. Felines are more agile but are still susceptible to spinal misalignments. Changes in mobility or temperament can be an indication that they are in pain and could use a Chiropractic evaluation.
The Science Of Chiropractic
A Chiropractor is trained to find spinal misalignments and correct them through the Chiropractic Adjustment. Spinal misalignments, we call them subluxations, cause interference in the nervous system and ultimately lead to a decrease in the bodies ability to heal and function optimally. When a vertebra is out of place with the vertebrae above and below, it causes inflammation in the joint leading to pain. It will also cause a distortion of the musculature attached to each vertebrae. This can lead to muscular compensations, postural distortions, and a decrease in activities they would normally perform. In your pet you may notice that they ride differently, they favor a side, they no longer jump up or down from heights, or their temperament has changed. These can all be signs that your companion is in pain and could use an adjustment.
